About
Olimpíadas Matematicando
Inteceleri Tecnologia para Educação is an edtech company founded in 2014, dedicated to making the teaching of mathematics more accessible, fun and inclusive. The company has already impacted more than 450,000 students in five Brazilian states (Pará, Amapá, Ceará, Maranhão and Amazonas), in more than 22 municipalities. Its commitment is to democratize learning through playful methodologies and innovative technological resources thatarouse students' interest and expand the reach of quality education.
The challenge
Inteceleri needed to scale up the Olimpíadas Matematicando project, which until then had depended on manual processes for applying and evaluating the tests.
Among the main challenges were:
- Difficulty managing classrooms with hundreds of students;
- Lack of automated score and ranking control;
- Limitations on the publication and maintenance of apps in the stores;
- Lack of accessibility features;
- Need new unlocking and training modes in the app.
The goal was to create a stable, accessible and scalable platform capable of sustaining the project's growth and serving public and private schools in different regions of the country.
The solution
Idopter Labs has led the technological evolution of Matematicando, implementing a series of improvements and new modules:
- Complete creation of the Olympics module: room management, automatic recording of scores and generation of rankings;
- Redesign of interfaces and tutorials, with a focus on accessibility and usability;
- Export results to Excel spreadsheets, making it easier to monitor competitions;
- New training modes and unlocking via code, with visuals adapted for children;
- Automation of the publishing pipeline, ensuring stability on Android and iOS versions;
- Validation in the field with more than 300 children, testing engagement and real usability.
Results and impact
The new Matematicando is now a complete tool for mathematical learning and competition, with support for offline mode and server ranking integration.
The platform is published on Google Play and the App Store, ready for the national launch of the B2C Olympiad bythe end of 2025.
In addition to improving technical performance, the project has brought more inclusion, accessibility and engagement to thousands of students and teachers.
Partnership and next steps
