What is blockchain

Blockchain technology is a decentralized digital registry system that makes it possible to store information securely, immutably and transparently.

How it works

Each recorded transaction is validated by a network of participants and grouped into blocks that are linked together to form a cryptographically protected chain. The main benefits include:
Transparency: All transactions can be publicly verified.
Easy to audit: The complete data history is permanently accessible
Resistance to censorship: There is no central authority capable of arbitrarily altering or deleting information.
These attributes make blockchain especially useful in applications that require trust, integrity and decentralization.
We are active participants in Cardano, known as a blockchain that combines academic research with highly rigorous engineering, offering a secure and scalable platform for building decentralized applications, smart contracts and digital governance systems.
Some of our initiatives at Cardano include the Work With Cardano organization and the JUNGLE Stake Pool project.

What is a Stake Pool?

Stake Pool is a grouping of Cardano network participants who delegate their ADA coins to an operator responsible for validating blocks and maintaining the network infrastructure.
Instead of each user operating their own node on the network, they can delegate their coins to a trusted pool, helping to decentralize the network and receiving rewards proportional to their participation.
JUNGLE also operates Cardano nodes in different testnets, contributing to the homologation of new functionalities and the stability of the network in test environments.
